It’s official: Spring quarter at UCSB will be entirely remote/online. Chancellor Yang is urging all students who can leave safely “to do so and to take all of their personal items from university-owned housing”.

UCSB’s commencement ceremony for the class of 2020 is officially postponed. The school is still committed to holding an in-person ceremony, but only when it is safe to do so. There will be an online commencement scheduled for the 2nd weekend of June.
